Septoplasty

It is a surgical procedure that is used to smooth septum. Nose is composed of two holes that in ideal state the septum should be placed on the midlines, if the septum is deviated to one of the two holes, that narrow hole prevents air flow, which causes a sense of nasal obstruction. Most surgeries are done in an hour or less.

Preoperative studies such as endoscopy or CT scan may be necessary. The above surgery is done under general anesthesia. The goal is to maintain proper breathing while maintaining the appearance of the nose. After surgery, in order to maintain the result, it is possible to place a splint temporarily inside the nose. )

The above surgery is done with almost less than a day hospitalizing and there is not bruising around the eyes.
